Godrej L’Affaire – Luxury Lifestyle At Its Best

Godrej L’Affaire, a curated experiential luxury lifestyle platform by the Godrej Group was held on the 22nd of February. The entire experience was based on the theme of “Aarambh“; or ‘New Beginnings’, which aimed to bring forth India’s un-paralleled bequest and affluent culture that will inspire future lifestyle experiences. The entire event was fit in a nutshell, which showcased a mix of ideas and concepts around food, travel, fashion, art, music and design. Master classes, engaging conversations, fashion shows, musical performances and an immersive experience with lifestyle brands is what Godrej L’Affaire delivered in its fourth year.

Keeping the environment at the heart of its activities, Godrej L’Affaire prioritized sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

I was excited about the line-up of amazing events, which were graced by the top celebrities of Bollywood. Talking about the events, the first event I attended was Baking A Blockbuster. This was a celebrity workshop which was graced by Saand Ki Aankh fame Bhumi Pednekar along with celebrity chef Varun Inamdar.  It was covered on India TV Live, which you can see here :

The workshop was aimed towards healthy baking recipes. Bhumi and Varun baked some of the most delicious yet healthiest cupcakes that are not just a treat to your taste buds but even great for your overall health. Now cupcakes aren’t just limited to party celebrations but can become great snacking options when toppled with healthy ingredients.

The next workshop that I attended was 100 Days In The Himalayas. This was another wonderful celebrity workshop, which was graced by none other than music director Shantanu Moitra. Shantanu showcased a spectacular montage of the many days he spent in the Himalayas. He even shared a couple of amazing stories followed by a round of some great music amidst his storytelling. It was great to see Shantanu curate some amazing music sitting in the laps of the gigantic mountain ranges while we tend to work in our ‘concrete jungles’. Hoping that Shantanu will soon come up with some of the best music pieces that might be inspired by his days in the
Himalayas.

The last workshop that I attended was Yatra, which was graced by Indian television’s heartthrob Karanvir Bohra and his wife Teejay Sidhu. This power couple are acing the parenting game in their own amazing way. The duo shared how they rediscovered the art of teaching religion and spirituality to their kids by visiting various religious places such as temples, churches and masjids with their kids. They not only made the entire experience fun, but managed to make it more relatable and engaging.

The final showdown events included American Whiskey Masterclass by Vinit Udyavar, Make Space For Life by Karishma Sakhrani, Khushnaz Turner and Rij Eappen. There was also a showcase of Ginevra- a brand of Tonino Lamborghini and a Tata Nexon EV- The Electric SUV.

There was also a MxS Private Runway Showcase where jewels curated by Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Monisha Jaisingh were on display.

Last but not the least, was a Rani Ko-HE-Nur, aka Sushant Divgikar presented on the stage with his band TopStorey. Embarking on a memorable journey once again, Godrej L’Affaire offered people a chance to be part of a grand celebration of food, travel, art, design, fashion and music.
