Daily Health Tips to improve immunity.

  1. Drink warm liquids: You need to start drinking only warm liquids such as hot soups, teas, turmeric infused water, spiced water, kadha, barley water, etc.
  2. Eat veg dishes: You need to avoid non-veg dishes at all cost. Eat only veg dishes, which are cooked properly. Avoid all raw foods such as salads and fruits, even if they are washed thoroughly.
  3. Include spices: You need to include all healthy spices in your foods such as turmeric, pepper, cloves, cinnamon etc.
  4. Eat well: You need to eat only healthy foods, eat frequently and avoid starvation. Starvation can cause your immunity to weaken, making you more prone to the COVID-19.
  5. Take your vitamins: If you have been prescribed any vitamins or supplements, do not skip them at any cost.
  6. Wash vegetables thoroughly: You need to wash your fruits and vegetables with salt and vinegar that will keep the bacteria away.
  7. Soak grains, pulses: Soak your grains and pulses in water for 10 minutes before cooking.

    • Sanitize your hands: Sanitize your hands frequently. Frequent use of sanitizers can dry your hands, which is why you can add tea tree oil in them. Add some tea tree oil in your hand creams as well.
    • Use a sanitized clean stick to dip in your face creams, etc. Dipping your fingers and nails might make them greasy, allowing bacteria to stick easily.
    • Stay indoors: Stay indoors or quarantine yourself unless you have to step out for some emergency.
    • Wear protective gears: If you step out for an emergency, wear masks and gloves.
    • Sleep more: Sleep for 9-11 hours if possible, which will help boost your immunity.
    • Breathing exercises: Practice breathing exercises to keep your lungs healthy.
    • Don’t stress: While you take all precautions, do not stress over, as it will weaken your immune system.

    These are really important things that we need to do during these tough times. I am okay with everything else as I do them regularly, except sleep. I have not been sleeping very well.
